My name is Jason Bonney. I have been involved in wrestling since the 7th grade. I wrestled for Boyertown high school where qualified for states my senior year. Upon graduation, I attended Rider College, where I wrestled for 4 years. Those 4 years taught me more about wrestling and dedication than all the years prior. Once I graduated from Rider College, I volunteered as an assistant coach for Mechanicsburg High School. After the first year, I was a paid assistant coach and we went to the district semi-finals.
After three years at Mechanicsburg High School, I needed to concentrate on my technology company. In 2006, I sold my company and began working with my wife at ‘Nbraces. I then began private lessons with some area wrestlers. Last year, I was asked to coach the youth white team. I love working with young, energetic kids and helping them love the sport of wrestling. As time permits, I visit the High School and Middle school practices where I help out as needed.
When I am not working with wrestlers, I spend my time with my wife and 4 kids (Quinn, Christina, Drake & Connor). Quinn is starting his wrestling career at the Middle school this year. My daughter has started swimming and basketball for the middle school. The twins started wrestling last year and enjoy all types sports.
